Art has always been a major theme throughout my life. I have always been a fan of comic book art which is where I gained most of my influence from. After graduating from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, I began my career as a computer animator. As an animator I learned the importance of being able to capture raw emotion and apply that emotion to an inanimate character.
Through animation, I learned how to channel those same emotions into my sculptures. An emotion turns into a sketch, a sketch gets sculpted into clay, a silicone mold is created from the original clay sculpture and multiple castings are poured. Once the pieces are sanded and assembled, I will then hand paint and ship each and every piece.
I want the viewer to feel the passion and emotion that I project into every piece by experiencing the detail and quality of my craft.
